Okay, I know, this is a machine shop and design center web site so what is a recipes section doing here?

Well this is one of my hobbies and I have a few favorites I would like to share with you. First up is the sourdough bread recipe, I use the Berkeley recipe and have pulled the two they have from the web and created pdf files and put them here. The first one is the starter and the second one is the actual bread recipe. I put together a third kind of filling in the details the others left out, it also has images of the whole process so you can see what each stage will look like so you will know you are on track. I would recommend studying all three before you begin because this endeavor takes a little planning.

Next up is a filet recipe that comes out pretty good, well great would be a better term. You can vary some ingredients and methods to suit your taste. I tried it per the recipe and it was wonderful. The thing I will try next is to grill it outside then bring it in to the broiler. I think that would be the best method.

Update: the grill is the best method, it’s just outstanding! You really cant compare other recipes to this one because it will blow them away.

Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with Port Wine Sauce

		Chocolate pie is one of my favorites. Here is a recipe that makes a pie a little darker than ordinary. Great if you like dark chocolate. Just click on the pie for the pdf.

	Overnight Waffles is a recipe that is for Belgian waffles that just can’t be beat. They are light and fluffy and always enjoyable, a little messy though if you don’t use a big enough bowl! Use the biggest one you have, trust me on this as it can be a monster!!!! You will not believe how big it will grow. Click HERE for the pdf.


	Cherry Cream Pie is another one that is good and is easy to make. I’ll have to put up a pic at a later date. Click HERE for the recipe.
